Recently, some scientists have warned that the world should make efforts to reduce carbon emissions as climate change worsens.

For this reason, Apple and other giant tech manufacturers are now finding different ways to generate revenue while reducing their carbon emissions.

On the other hand, Back Market has a different way of making buying gadgets more eco-friendly. Here’s what he did with the Apple Store.

According to ZDNetBack Market’s latest report, the latest eco-friendly gadget shopping promotion from refurbished company Back Market, has made some Apple consumers happy.

Back Market published a Youtube video of his latest green effort, generating over 5.4 million views.

In the video, you will see iPhone products showing on Apple Store suddenly get AirDrop messages. Here is what the messages project:

  • “Did you know that this iPhone is available in white, black, blue and more green?”
  • “It’s time to switch to renovation with a cheaper and more ecological model.”

In addition to the affected display iPhones, Apple smartphones of store visitors also received the AirDrop messages.

Back Market is a leading marketplace for renewed or refurbished gadgets. One of its most demanded products is Apple devices.

When you say refurbished, a gadget is already used but turned into a brand new device by a company. Back Market said its main goal is to make refurbished products more in demand.
