The Kano State government approved the promotion of 102 workers into the regular civil service and 2 disciplinary cases in August 2021.
The chairman of the state civil service commission, Mr. Bello Mohammad Kiru, revealed this on Friday, shortly after a senior management promotion exercise meeting held in the commission’s boardroom.
According to him, “102 workers were promoted while 2 disciplinary files were treated respectively according to the rules of the civil service”.
He then tasked the promoted staff to return the gesture by diligently engaging in their assigned tasks for overall development.
Focusing on the members of the commission, the Chairman expressed his gratitude and deep gratitude to the members for demonstrating a high sense of discipline and maturity throughout the conduct of the exercise despite some challenges hindering the smooth running of the exercise.
The government has said it hopes it will keep the flag for accelerated service development in the state.
