MOTORISTS in Harlow can take advantage of a new user-friendly website launched by the North Essex Parking Partnership (NEPP) highlighting information and assistance on parking in the area.
A key feature of the new website is improved site navigation and usability. This is due to the addition of a search bar feature as well as a cleaner and more user-friendly layout.
News and service updates will now have individual pages per article, making it easier to find important information. There will also be a new look for operational and annual reports, which will be hosted on the website to improve usability and accessibility. The NEPP supports parking provision and enforces parking restrictions in Braintree, Colchester, Epping Forest, Harlow, Tendring and Uttlesford.
The new website, north.parkingpartnership.org, gives people information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year about NEPP’s work to provide parking services in the area and how to register for the cashless parking program, MiPermit.
It also details the steps customers should take if they wish to appeal a Penalty Notice (PCN) they have received. Users will continue to be able to pay for the PCNs they have received, via a secure area on the site.
Cllr Sue Lissimore, chair of the North Essex Parking Partnership, said“We know that parking is high on many people’s to-do lists. We have designed this website to try to make it as easy as possible for those living in or visiting North Essex to use to get the parking information they need.
“I think it’s important to leverage technology to make things as user-friendly and simple as possible for people to find what they need.”
